Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Verbly browser extension and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using Verbly, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Verbly, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Verbly is a browser extension that provides inline text translation and vocabulary saving features to help users learn languages while browsing the web. The Service includes a free tier and an optional Premium subscription.

You may use Verbly without an account (with limited functionality) or sign in with Google to access full features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

Free accounts are limited to 20 translations per day and 30 saved words. These limits may change at any time with reasonable notice.

6. Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at verbly.customerservice@gmail.com for refund requests within 7 days of purchase.

7. Intellectual Property

The Verbly name, logo, and all content within the Service are the intellectual property of Verbly. You may not use them without prior written permission. Your saved vocabulary data belongs to you.

8. Third-Party Services

Verbly relies on third-party APIs (DeepL, Google, Supabase, Lemon Squeezy) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that translations will be accurate for all use cases.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verbly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.
